Public Relations

During the development of social relations,  PRECHEZA a.s. respects one of the major principles of the “Responsible Care Programme”, - open communication.
We inform the public honestly about our influence upon the enviroment and about the implementation of our comprehensive environmental protection programmes. Via the media we publicise our production plan and the results of our enviromental management programme.  
We always focus on the advance discussion of our investment plans with public authorities. In 2008, with respect to “good neighbourhood relations”, we improved the passing of information to the necessary institutions and town citizens with respect to any technological regimes adopted within PRECHEZA a.s. which may have a potential influence upon the atmosphere surrounding the town.Sponsorship and promotional activities are centered especially on selected special interest groups, (inparticularly youth), with the aim to explain and promote the role of the chemical industry both in our everyday lives and in also the building of a developed economy. We provide an inspiration to young people to study chemistry and we generally contribute to the improvement of the quality of life within the region. In addition we also support selected cultural and sports events.

We have been co-operating with the Moravian Ornithology Society for many years.

We remain permanently in contact with our former employees, regularly organising joint events with them. They also all receive our employee’s magazine, “Přerovský Chemik”. Odkaz
We organise various sport events for our 560 employees and the public community, – the most familiar being a whole day cycling event, “PRECHEZA a.s. Cyklotour”, (alternatively labelled as “lungs aeration” for tourists), but also football, (the “ZOK Cup”), volleyball, and tennis matches between individual departments.

Amongst others, we try to make the working area more pleasant for our employees, visitors and town citizens alike by maintaining the buildings within our boundaries and by nurturing the green areas inside of them and those of the nearby surroundings.Our aim is to strengthen our social role as one of the biggest businesses in the region and illustrate to the public what is natural for us... Precheza is a safe, modern and well managed company with a future.

Selected Socially Orientated PRECHEZA a.s. Activities :
 
PRECHEZA a.s. financially supports the additional education of our workers, (basic vocational studies, language courses, personal development...)
 We support the development of specialist chemical education, students of middle and high school are regularly welcomed on excursions to the company manufacturing plant; SPŠ Hranice, Pardubice University and Palacký University in Olomouc have a long-standing co-operation in this regard. 
For the new generation of chemists, we annually co-sponsor the regional round of the ‘Chemical Olympics’ and the small ‘Chemical Olympiad’. 
PRECHEZA a.s. contributed a significant amount to the purchasing of a computor assisted tomograph in Přerov hospital.  
We are involved in the organising of the Czechoslovakian Jazz Festival.  
We co-operate within the Chemical Industry Union, TDMA (Titanium Dioxide Manufacturers Association.) 
We support the women’s extra league volleyball team, PVK PRECHEZA as well as it’s youth and school girls teams.  
We support motorist competitions held by PRETIOX Auto Club, (Czech Republic Automobile Orientation Championship and Czech Republic Automobile Slalom Championship.) 
Amongst others, we also sponsor a curling team.
