About the Company

PRECHEZA a.s. is proud of more than one hundred and twenty years of tradition in general chemical production and more than fifty years of manufacturing inorganic pigments. Today, PRECHEZA a.s. is the largest producer of inorganic pigments in the Czech Republic and a major European producer in this field.
PRECHEZA a.s. is an active member of the Association of the Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic, the Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Paint Manufacturers of the Czech Republic and the Titanium Dioxide Manufacturers Association (TDMA).

Profile

The most important production and commercial commodity of the stock company is titanium dioxide. Its sales represent an overwhelming majority of the total turnover of the company. The remaining part of the turnover of the company is represented by iron oxides, sulphuric acid and other products. Four fifths of all the total amount of the chemical goods sold are exported.

Management system

The company’s management and its elements such as occupational health and safety management system, quality management system, environmental protection and energy management systems are built in compliance with the globally recognized standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. The company also implemented food safety management in compliance with the international standard FSSC 22000 for food grade titanium dioxide production. Individual products are certified to comply with applicable regulation and technical norms. External supervision is performed by authorized experts. Since 1994, PRECHEZA has been a part RESPONSIBLE CARE, a global chemical industry initiative for responsible care and business.
